It was a very easy event to go through since everything went through our phones. Great separation from everyone who wasn't involved in the event. Would love to go again and mingle more.

If you are looking for something different to try do it!! The best thing was knowing everyone was single and you could mingle and there was no expectations. It was a great experience!

The two most important attributes for me are whether a woman wants to have children, and whether she takes care of her body. Matchbox is in no way oriented towards satisfying these criteria.

The vibe of the bar was great and the energy overall was really good. My matches and I had very little in common and did not stay in contact after the evening. The host was very sweet and did her best to make sure everyone had a good time. I would try this again.

I had a decent time at the matchmaking event and thought it was a nice experience overall. The atmosphere was relaxed, the drinks were good, and it made it easy to meet and talk with new people. I enjoyed myself and would definitely be interested in coming to another event in the future

The Mc was a fun guy, but trying to get a drink was tough since it was busy. Mingling was a bit intimidating for everyone there. But Tavern Blue was honestly the perfect place for this kind of event since there was lots of activities.

It was a fun event but should be closed off to the other people so it would be a clash of people that didnt pay and paid together type thing. (Example a couple of couples was in playing or in with the crowd during the event) The questions also should not be so vague type thing.
Brittany
I had alot of fun. It was a good crowd and an awesome venue. Tavern Blue is a hit

Way too loud at location. Zero appropriate matches. Algorithm was way off with matches and what I was looking for with someone.
Sarah
The host who planned the event at this venue quit her job the day before and another employee who knew nothing about it stepped up. She was a good sport but couldn't answer questions. I think this product (Matchbox algorithm) is a neat idea, well thought out, and plug and play. This is also the product’s drawback -a host can purchase and provide it without knowing anything about how it works or how to troubleshoot issues. If attendees don’t show up you can have a round without a match so you lose value. Our hosts gave a free drink to participants in this situation. Attendees were capped at 20 pairs. That was a nice amount for mingling outside the date rounds. 30 minutes per round is better than typical speed dating. Unsuitability in my matches had more to do with the lack of lifestyle diversity in my locale. As far as the venue I love Tavern Blue. Perfect space for this type of event. There are games, a variety of seating, and the hosts sectioned off a space for our group.

I paid all the money, but out of 3 opportunities I was only matched just once with a person in 2nd round (just once), rest other 2 opportunities I was sitting with nothing (because they ran out of people). In return we got extra drinks, but we didn’t pay for drinks, we paid for matchmaking! Host was good, they did their best, but I did not expect outcome something like this.

Okay, the host/DJ/Bartender dude did a horrible job running the event. For one, it was pretty obvious the guy on the mic was drunk and would just speak nonsense into the mic. As the night went on, they progressively turn the music up louder and louder to the point people had to leave or go sit in another section entirely just to have a conversation. If the point of the event is for singles to match, why are you blaring music as if we were at a club? I’ve done research on some of the Matchbox events beforehand, and they all seemed a lot more organized than this one was. There were no icebreakers, the host didn’t encourage people to mingle, and there really weren’t that many places to sit down at in the area.
Carson
Music was too loud for the amount of people there in the event that they were holding was not well structured or very informative. I.e. they didn’t really give instructions of what was supposed to be done or they didn’t announce any additional information as in when we were given the match they didn’t announce. Hey if you send a text, you can find out what the compatibility is or they didn’t say hey there’s some questions that you’ve been sent to ask the match.
