The Matchbox events are new exciting way to meet new people that you should have good chemistry and compatibility with.

The event was pricey, especially to not include our own drinks. If the event is titled winetasting, and there’s a fee involved, it would seem as though the ticket price includes drinks. The venue was very small, and there was not a lot of time to further the conversations before moving to the next round.

I wasn't sure what to expect until I got there; I wish I had known it would be survey-based matching. There was not a lot of time to talk to people who you were not matched with, and the bar closed soon after the event officially ended, making it even harder to connect with people you weren't matched with. It was a "wine event" but the price did not include a glass of wine. It was overall a fun concept, but it could be more curated next time.
