I found it very surface level and still the same bs dating scene. Men preferring to chat with other men, scared to approach a woman first. And the host was weird too lol. I wouldn’t return, but I’m glad I went so I know not to experience this again!

I had an OK time, but I didn’t really like my match. I wish the questions were worded differently to get more of my personality! The drinks at the venue were also an bit expensive. However, I did have a great time making friends with people! No love though.

I don’t understand why I was match with a man when I clearly marked heterosexual. When I asked the organizers what is going on they told me that I had a friend match. That’s not what I came for. It’s not helping building self confidence when you hear there is 200 people in the event and you have no match.

It was great mingling with people and finding lit who my match was and why. I expected there to be actual games for us to play. There were game machines but I expected like jenga or trouble. Board games to be waiting for us. The questions also were not enough to get a better understanding of who I was. I thought it would be a 15min questionnaire. It was too quick. you only got one round of matches—there should definitely be more so you get more than one opportunity to find someone to click with. I did meet pretty cool people so that was a plus

I didn’t know who the host was . It started at 7pm and we didn’t get matched till after 9. As someone who lives far and made time for this it felt inconsiderate and a waste of time and money. I couldn’t meet my “match” because I had to leave. It would have been better if there was an activity to do while people came in to break the ice

I thought that the event was well constructed and reasonably set up. The odd thing is that of all of the people there I was already speaking with my match during the mingle hr, and then it turned out that we were a match! It’s not going to work out for a number of reasons and I felt like it was much more of a platonic connection where it was easy to talk to each other but I didn’t hear wedding bells if that makes sense. Either way I would definitely go back and would recommend to a friend.

I think the organization needed to be better. The app was not utilized super well. I also thought the selected questions really didn’t get to know who you are. We only got one group before our final match. The host needed some kind of theme or game to help people mingle better. I also think that there should be a list of people you met who you can state whether you were interested in or not and if you both were you get their email/contact or something. I feel like a lot of ppl left after the match

I think this event exemplified the issues in dating today. To many women could not find there match. It’s unclear if the match saw them and never approached them or if they were too cowardly. There were men posted up against the wall the whole night like they were “the shit” and only had women approach them instead of doing it themselves. The questionnaire in the beginning was very surface level and didn’t tell you anything about person. No important questions were truly asked. Overall the event was underwhelm and not well executed at all. There needs to be lots of improvements. I’m happy for those this event went well from. But majority of the people I spoke to expressed disappoint in either the person they were matched with or the event as a whole.
