Singles events are waste of time because women come to make friends and think these events not natural and lame. Men have better time approaching women on their own.

The venue was nice! The event was cool! My only complaint is that I answered on my questionnaire that I like to go to the gym, but all of my matches were overweight women???

The venue was good - nice atmosphere, easy to find. I liked the folks I met, and I made a connection with one of my matches. I would have liked more time to mingle after the pairings but the bar became too loud and crowded by the end of the event. Overall, a very good experience.

A couple waste of time and money. Not an even number of men and women, so the host paired me with another woman and said it was a "friend match." Who comes to a dating event to meet a "friend" of the same gender, especially if you are not bi or lesbian. Then, I was offered a "discount" for the "next one." You do think I would EVER go to an event of yours again? Plus, it wasn't organized well at all from beginning to end. I used to host events as part of community building for a major tech company and I did so for 7 years. There is an art to connection that was completely missed from the moment my friend and I arrived. No icebreakers, plenty of people feel awkward and stand-offish... All of this could have remedied with an excellent host, interactive games, food of some sort, a photo booth, something! Just piss poor from beginning to end. I walked out once I was matched with a woman.

This is going to (possibly) make me sound like a *** xD haha, but the music was too loud (you had to yell at others in order to be heard by them). I'm also wondering if something more like speed dating (but with more than 5 minutes per person) would work better for a dating event, although, depending on the number of attendees, that could end up taking a long time..so maybe just speed dating then, with the ability to "match"/indicate interest or exchange contact info after the event. With that said, I did appreciate the intention and spirit of the event - getting people together in person for the purpose of finding that special someone. The excitement of meeting people in person was definitely in the air and the host was also a nice and friendly guy. Overall, it was actually a fun event, but I think a different format might've been more effective for the purposes of dating (as opposed to just having a good time), with the music not being too loud of course lol.
