The venue is quite narrow so it wasn’t very easy at first to mingle but got easier later on (maybe people left). Could have done with a larger group of people but a good event and would come to another ideally a bigger event.

This was a really fun, well organised and informal event. The people were all very warm, chatty and nice. The host was excellent, very friendly and created a relaxed atmosphere. It is a good way to meet people and have a laugh.

Interesting event. Although the matches set by the algorithm were not appropriate in person (there was no banter or anything in common). I would recommend having some ice breaker games to the next event to help it be more interactive

Was nice too meet people however I think the organization of the event could of been smoother. More instructions and directions and organizing the people in to their groups. Also more bar staff as waiting for a drink shouldn't be the majority of your evening experience.

I thought the set up of this event had less structure than other dating events I've been to and for that reason there was less pressure. I didn't speak to everyone but got along with my matches well. The venue was ideal and the host was very welcoming and present throughout the night

It was a decent night where I met quite a variety of people, which was good. It was just nice to be in a space where mingling and socialising was a mutual expectation, relieving awkwardness you'd see in another setting. Disabled access could have been a lot better though (e.g. no ramp to outside area)

It was the host’s first event, so organisation was a little chaotic. Improvements: more announcements to the venue as a whole rather than just walking group to group. Help facilitate mixing more. Have signs with group numbers to indicate where groups are supposed to meet.

The Matchbox style setting up match & group dates to bring people together throughout the night was excellent, a massive improvement on the usual "just mingle" approach - dedicated time with a subset of people meant I actually came out with dates and contact details. Also, Sebastian ran the event brilliantly.

Fun event for sure! Met a variety of new, cool and interesting people. If there’s anything I’d change, it’s that the questions were sent night before. We are all trying to get away from our phones, so when walking in and everyone’s engrained in their phones, it was a bit of a :/ moment, albeit, short. Otherwise loved it 😊

The host was lovely and helpful and attentive. Although the match process was something different, there were other people at the even that I didn’t have an opportunity to talk to and the beginning of the even was overshadowed by people on their phone trying to fill out the questions so the first hour of the event was a bit wasted as people may have been a bit stressed or anxious. Also when put into groups sat down, it was harder to move about and talk to others without feeling rude. Possibly standing would have been better or maybe presenting it like a mini speed date or encourage people to swap to another person so people swap round so they can get an oportunity to talk to everyone in the group may be better

All in all it was a good event and not what I pictured it would be at all from someone he’s got a form of autism. I feel like I pushed the boundaries and met some nice people. Sadly, no match but hey ho, they’re out there somewhere The questionnaire was difficult to understand and a host was very helpful explaining the questions to me. The group stages I did struggle with because the match at the end of the night I did not want to speak to her through all the different stages and felt like she matched with someone else and felt wrong that she was paired up with me. It felt like there were more men and a group that I was put into was definitely an unmatched ratio and then finding out that one of the groups is a potential friendship group kinda took me by surprise but felt like I did connect with a couple guys and a girl and didn’t make the whole evening a bust. Overall, it was a good evening and would do it again because it pushed my boundaries for the good see you next time

I ended up getting a platonic match, which the website did warn me about in advance to balance things out. I would come to another one in the hopes of being matched romantically but the vibe was relaxed and friendly enough for a shy introverted guy like myself to flourish here. It pays to be knowledgable of the area and also of the dating scene in your city as a good conversation foothold.

It seems the run of events and number of matches varies. It was interesting and definitely good for meeting people but also a warning that it is quite overwhelming, with many conversations at once and loud atmosphere. It's good for meeting people but some people leaned on too much liquid courage at times. Everyone was respectful though and the vibe was good. I think it's a bit intense and not knowing how many matches you'll get is a bit disarming when trying to talk to multiple people.

I decided to leave after the first part of the date as there were more men than women and there wasn’t an opportunity to talk to people. Upon messaging my match, she revealed that as the evening went on, it was narrowed down to one on one matches. This meant that she was left all alone at the bar. If I had been informed of how the evening was going to play out by the organiser, I would have stayed. I feel the Thursday organisation should apologise the girl left at the bar, provide her a gift and give her a free ticket for the next event. She has been left alone due to the lack of communication from the organiser.
