Love the concept of face to face meeting. Love the vibe, but would be good with some ice breakers in the beginning men with questions and woman in the room with answers to the questions.

My match was not right for me at all which was dissapointing and I think the questions beforehand need to be better at asking a persons type. I still enjoyed it though and would come back. Thankyou

My match was a man. I'm nit gay. He wasn't gay either. Better to have a look how many girls and boys have bought tickets and if it is nkt nearly 50/50, better to let everyone to talk to everyone as a normal dating event.

Have a iPad or something to fill-out the server. Having your phone run out of charge or running into technically difficults is really frustrating

Good idea for an event. I think the matching questions and algorithms are more about future desires than who you really are. I'd rather match with someone I'd have a good conversation with over whose vague values align with my own. I'd like to specify my desired age range rather and hobbies than how I feel about how they feel about how much I work out.

Was the first one of these events I havd been to and proved to be a very fun night. Though it wasn't necessarily the most successful evening, I did get to have some interesting and fun conversations with people I wouldn't ordinarily get the chance to. I would 100% recommend these events to anyone wanting a change of scenary from the dating apps and you get a chance to meet authentic and relatable people. Will be going to future events where I can and hopefully they prove to be a little more fruitful :)

This is the second match event I have been to. The first one we were split in to groups and then the groups were reduced. I liked that this time when the groups were split, they were also mixed up also. This gives an oportunity to have conversation with a wider spectrum of the people attending. This enabled me to connect with someone who was not my match but I was interested to get to know further

Brilliant turnout and met lots of great new people. Match may be good, something to explore, but good vibes all round and some options. Venue was really not good - so expensive (£6.30 for a bottled lager or £9.10 for a single vodka lemonade!!) and the music was so loud it was hard to hear anyone not directly next to you so it wasn't great for the group stages. Compared to other singles events in Exeter though it was bigger, better, and more fun!

First time attending this type of event! A good mixture of people, it did feel a little like a party to begin with as people were sporadically spread out. Alijah is a brilliant host. I think for constructive feedback, less time spent speaking with potential matches and more networking/circulating would be great. The people I was matched with I would probably be friends with as opposed to anything more. A couple of people mentioned they had been matched with their friends. More variety with the questions would be great as some questions didn't really feel relevant to me. I would go to another one as I enjoyed the atmosphere and met some lovely people! As a side note: the music was INCREDIBLY loud, and made for very difficult hearing (I felt like i was in a nightclub) when speaking to people without having to shout at them.

It was a really great atmosphere. The age range worked well and everyone was really chatty and friendly including the host. I particularly enjoyed the host checking in on me multiple times in the night and when I was with my match, it just made me feel special for attending and taking part! Would definitely do another one! Only thing I would say to improve on is there is quite a lot of waiting around at the beginning.

The event was much better than the previous year with the match-making. As for the quiz; good questions. I can tell it narrowed things skilfully but I think more multiple choice questions on personality and personal opinions would have been even better, such as: more on what does one look for in a person, more regarding personal values, priorities. Adding 5-10 more questions could make a big difference. Could prewarn how much time is needed to complete if it becomes longer i.e. 40 questions.

There was this really weird guy there. I think he came with friends or something. Anyway, while people were trying to mingle he just at the piano and just kept playing a single key. It was really loud and annoying. The host did nothing. During the rest of the event he splurged out on a sofa and just sat there. He was so creepy. The host did nothing about him. A guest had to ask his to stop banging on a piano.
