Loved that this event was 40+, and included a great group of people. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but Yoshabelle is an awesome host and put everyone at ease. The event was very well run with low pressure. I would definitely attend another one.

The host was absolutely perfect! There were a few glitches with getting notifications about the 2nd and 3rd match when we were suppose to, but I went to the host and she helped me immediately with my next match.

The event was well-run with just enough structure to take the pressure off. The host made sure we all mingled, and the small group was pleasant to break the ice.

I like the vibe, the event setup and the venue. But there are parts to improve, more man to be gender balanced.

I got matched with a female ! Although i mentioned that i am interested in men ! That simple .. it wasn’t a good experience!

It was a first time experience coming to a singles Matchbox event. It was a vibe talking and mingling with new people and meeting them as well. The crowd for the event was a good size amount of singles looking to find their matches.

The event was great. Everyone was so open and fun to talk to and get to know. The host, was exceptional and a highlight of the night in of herself. I was nervous and didn’t fully get what I signed up for. But she walked me through it, and with such grace and poise. And I know I can be aloof at times when following instructions in those types of settings. I wouldn’t feel up to doing something like this if it wasn’t for her. Additionally, one of my matches was just awesome to meet and get to know, no matter where our connection leads us. Despite being a skeptical, it was a total blast.

I don’t think this algorithmic matching works at all. You guys have to figure something else out. Things don’t work this way in real life, you are using the same technique that made apps unsuccessful. Putting into a real physical environment won’t make it succeed either. It just wastes everybody’s time (and money). People after one or two such events will realize it quickly and not attend anymore. Even speed dating is way more efficient and rewarding than this. There I have to go through all 20+ person from the other sex, but typically there are at least 2 matches who are interesting enough to follow up afterwards. Yesterday, I was matched with 3 people who I knew the first look that there is absolutely no potential for any sort of match. It was just a total waste of 3x 10 minutes and because most of the people seemed to have the same experience and got disappointed, they left shortly after with a sour taste in their mouths not in the mood to converse much afterwards.

This was one of the most horrible experiences I have ever had!! The match was awful!! Of course I think the pool to choose from has a lot to do with that, but also, it didn’t seem like any qualities in the survey were “matched” to the person I had the grave misfortune of speaking with. Deflated any desire I have to put any intention or effort to dating! 0 stars
