Match selection was ok and venue wasn’t too bad either but for future events please please please turn down and lower the music so we’re not yelling and screaming sitting like a foot away from each other

Bry is an excellent host. She is very welcoming, does a great job in planning, and getting people to her events. I love that Bry has regular events that are specifically for queer individuals. Whether it’s matchmaking or we end up building more of a community, I appreciate Bry’s efforts.

Overall, it was a fun event this one specifically focused on queer connections. As a bisexual though it was disappointing to only get male matches. I wish it gave me more variety.

It was fun for a “meet new people in the queer community”. I wish there were more queer women that would have attended, the lower turnout made it hard to have a high match %. But overall a very fun kind safe experience :)

The algorithm uses cultural names to put you at the bottom of the matching pool. I wasn’t attracted to the 2 matches out of 3. Also, this was my second and last time attending this bs.

The quiz questions were way too generic and I feel like everyone was putting 4’s on everything. We need specifics. Talk about income, talk about hobbies, education, talk about sex, physical preferences, etc. Dating is 50% physical attraction so why do all of these apps keep ignoring that in their filters?

The Thursday mixer was in held in a nice venue, was well run, attracted a congenial 50/50 mix of men and women. They used the Match Box questionnaire to name your potential matches, provided conversation starters and encouraged getting to know others. Very enjoyable evening.

I feel like 3 matches isn’t enough for the amount of people there 4 or 5 would be worth it.

I felt that the attendees were much better than at Edison house. However the drift lounge was so hot and loud it made it difficult to chat with your match unless you were upstairs outside. Personality wise my matches were great but we differed a lot on aspirations and employment status but had a great time!

It was fun. People where really opened to the experience. Although the questions to find my match did really get who I am. Only one question about if hobbies where super important to me but nothing about the kind of hobbies. So I got matched with people that don’t do any sports or active hobbies.

The matchmaking event was awesome! It was intriguing to see who I was matched up with based on similar values, they were people that I probably wouldn’t have talked to otherwise. I wish more people would come to these events for even higher possibilities of matches. I’ll definitely be going to another one!

This venue felt a bit like a cafeteria. Because of the small space it was loud and hard to hear what people were saying. The last two events had more women than men. We need to get better ratios to make it more enjoyable. I also recommend that you have people identify who they came with. I had a friend match with my friend. 😁

The event was overall well-run. I didn't particularly like that you only have 10-15 minutes with each match because you barely get past chitchat though. I came away feeling more like it'd be a better place to make male friends than find a date. Matches unfortunately weren't super specific and most of the women weren't my type. That's not the event planners fault though

Bry is an amazing host and her events are a blast and well organized. The only drawback is that women always outnumber men at her events!! Unfortunately, I keep finding myself getting the short end of the stick at these events because I either don’t get matched at all or get Friend matches (meaning matched with other women). I’m going to keep attending but I hope things turn around for me there.
