Het matching algoritme was erg goed. Het gaat er daar natuurlijk om dat normen, waarden en interesses matchen. Op dat vlak geloof ik dat ik een prima match had. Helaas was het zo dat er een groot verschil zat tussen het type dames en het type mannen dat kwam. De vrouwen waren verzorgde, zelfverzekerde vrouwen die vaker daten en niet afhankelijk zijn van zulke events om mannen te ontmoeten. Ze hebben al een vrij rijk sociaal (dating-)leven. Over het algemeen waren de mannen daarentegen wat sociaal ongemakkelijker en minder vlotjes. Velen deelden dat ze eigenlijk nooit op vrouwen afstappen en niet daten. Daardoor ervaarde ik dat veel vrouwen wat teleurgesteld waren in het aanbod aan aanwezige mannen. Het is lastig, want dat is niet iets waar de host wat aan kan doen. Wel is het iets wat ik dames zou willen meegeven voordat ze besluiten naar dit event te komen.

The host was a little bit chaotic, and didnt have too much presentation skills. This is definitely something she should train. My match, and all the people I have spoken to during the evening were not my physical match. Besides, although there were questions about monogamy etc, I didn't talk to anyone who was actually interested in non-monogamy. Thus leaving me without a match or future date.

Uiteindelijk had je met die tijd, meer tijd echt kunnen praten met je match. Ook vond ik de vragen niet heel diepgaand, waardoor ik het gevoel had ik niet werd gematcht op basis van belangrijke basis kwaliteiten. The ratio women/men was horrible! So many gorgeous women, and so little men. And the men that were there were also disappointing. I was expecting there to be a lot more higher educated and well spoken people, but instead it felt like us women were waaaaayyy out of league for most men. On the upside; I had a fun time connecting with other (disappointed) women. As many of us were complaining, giving eachother looks of empathy while seeing the oger-like matches a sister was matched with. A piece of advice for the host: next time, market more towards ‘high quality’ men instead of the girly vibes from the ads on tiktok that will attract more women and desperate men!
