The biggest issue with many of these are room acoustics. With so many people in such a bright room, you can hardly hear others talking. This isn't a nightclub/pub meetup. The main purpose is to meet and talk to people.

I had a great evening at Ashlee’s matchbox. I made some friends from the event. I had a lot fun afterwards dancing with everyone. It was a good location, easy to get there and home.

Venue upstairs was cold, unwelcoming needed a revamp in decor and layout did not encourage mingling. No dj, or background music = very boring ambience. Two of of my three matches didn’t even show up as they ditched the event soon after they saw the crowd.

I think it would be helpful to include the participants’ height. I’m tall, and some of my matches were guys shorter than me, which I’m not attracted to. Also, regarding religion, I think it would be better to specify which religion, because some beliefs are very different and may not align with what I’m looking for.

It's something wrong with AI algorithm. The gender ratio should be equal such that dudes don't get friendship match. I had a terrible experience. I got a friendship match which I was not expecting. And even though you match it is most likely your physical appearance. I am hoping I get my free ticket for the friendship match.

Poorly run. Venue was a bit loud. Matches were poor, or didn't seem to exist at all. It was "AI matches", but really it was just age brackets and pre-canned descriptions based on your answers of the quiz at the start of the night.

Feel like people just putting numbers for their questions and therefore in matches- it’s just not right. And I got same person like last event. So I wasted that match. Like do we have to ask their contact details right there? And I thought we had time but we had little time. So I couldn’t able to do all of my moves.

I enjoy the AI matchmaking however a few pointers to improve on the questions. In terms of religion, sexuality, finance, experience in the dating world and type of girl/guy they individual is looking for. I fell like it's too ambiguous. I think there should be a few more extra questions on those subjects as they are very specific and need specific questions. Table me for example my name is Tahlia Alphonso and religion is important to me because I am Christian. The last matchmaking I did I was matched with 3 Indian Muslims. They were nice but not for me. For example it should be "out of 10 is religion important to you?" If yes "which religion are you." It's better to be paired with someone from the same religion. Or even having yes, maybe, no questions might be easier. Anyways just food for thought.

It would be great to have questions about your likes - do you like being active, go out, stay home. Completely understand it would be hard to find a good venue that is large. The whippet club didn’t have any atmosphere. And perhaps a number sign so people know where they are going even if they can’t hear well.

The event had a lot of potential but I found that more engagement, Mc-ing and guidance was probably needed. Potentially more hosts to engage and work the room and help people connect with others (outside of the matches). I felt like a networking event more than a dating event. Could have done with music, bar games to make it easier to start a conversation. There was no mention of the cards on the table, only noticed them with my 3rd match. Also my my matches were not compatible at all. Not sure that the questions captured my values well.

Met some nice people, but venue/sound system was noisy and loud, hard to have a conversation. The mishap with the microphone and speaker blew everyone's eardrums out and soured the mood. Honestly the whole thing had too much of a nightclub feel. Previous events outdoors/beer garden are much more amenable to making friends.

The host presented the event well & the bunch of people there were nice. However, the AI algorithm didn't really match me with people of my values or interests. I believe the chosen questions in the survey were quite off the mark and need to be focused mainly on hobbies, interests, life values / plans, and personality, more than those generic useless questions we got. I would give it another shot if they change these questions.

I liked the matching, because it is helping people to know some other people and talk to them, break some ice, even if it’s singles events some people are being just in groups or a couple for the whole night so it feels like don’t wanna interrupt, and it’s always ending with a disappointment, might be the problem of the modern dating life or just people looking for easier ways, anyways thank you

The main complaint people had over the night was the music was way too loud to have a decent conversation. While the lighting and ambience was suited to conversation over dancing. Finding your match was difficult, maybe nametags or number system would help. Its a shame to say it, but physical attraction is super important, and needs to be a factor in the matching process. Height, body type... these things matter.
