It was fine but the event didn't have much structure beyond when the app put out the matches. No ice breakers or anything beyond one vague clue about your match. The groups were left to awkwardly figure out how to make conversation until the matches were revealed. It was more fun after that point. It was mentioned that the messaging link would expire in 24 hours, but even that was a bit vague. 24 hours from the event start? From the match reveal? I connected with one of my matches and the message I sent with my phone number was apparently just a few minutes past the expiration time. Lastly, this was a heavily hetero-coded event, but there were several queer females! The app does nothing to help queer folx recognize whether it's a queer match or a 'friend match.' The app has some capabilities to make this a much more inclusive space, which was warranted, but those opportunities were ignored by the host and not leveraged enough in the app.
