I had a lot more fun than I expected! I didn’t know what to expect but Ive been experiencing dating app fatigue and wanted to try something new. While my match wasn’t my vibe I met some really cool people and made some friends. I’d call that night a success!

Very well organized event with a great turnout (almost 150 people) in a classy venue. Socioeconomically and racially diverse mix of attendees. The people I met were interesting, interested, and respectful. All around nice event and the ticket price seemed just right ($25/$30 ish).

The person had a 9 year old daughter and was looking for someone who was also similar in their life. I am fatherless and not quite there in life. We had different personalities altogether.

There was less people at this one and they’re having a previous events, which definitely limited the pool, I really enjoyed my match because it was my friend who I brought so that we could try to not be single I’ve been to another dating event by a different group at Rome, and I think that while Rome has potential setting dating events, there is just a little tricky because of how the space is designed overall

The vibes were good and the location was fun. Cool assortment of people and was fairly easy to pick up conversations with new people. The structured matchmaking part was very lackluster, the questions were odd and didn’t seem to get at what’s important in a match. And there was this awkward ‘clue’ part where you got into smaller groups to try to guess who was your match but it was a massive waste of time because the info they gave was so generic and didn’t even spur interesting conversation. Also, I’m pretty sure if they have an uneven gender ratio that just match you with a fake name that says they had to leave early so they don’t have to give you a refund.

This was a mess and a terrible experience. It was two hours after the start time posted, straight people came to the queer one, the music was too loud for a speed dating event, matches would not talk. Was just a terrible waste of time and money- pretty much a scam. . Bad people showed up - need to ask other things for matches. The trans people who attended did not get any matches.

The event was well organized, and the venue was fantastic — really a great space for this type of gathering. That said, the overall vibe felt more like a business networking event than a relaxed social one. It would be great to see more interactive elements in the program to help people feel comfortable and connect more naturally. Also, the playlist didn’t quite match the energy of the event. A more upbeat and engaging music selection could really help set the mood and get people dancing together. Overall, a great foundation — just a few tweaks could make it even better next time.

Not a great experience, i felt like i wasted 3 hours of my night just to find out that i didnt actually get matched with someone compatible or of the correct sexuality. as a straight man i was matched with another straight man which is unacceptable when i paid for a ticket for a service to be matched with someone that i could be romantically involved with and the service was simply not done.
