Would definitely recommend, there was a wide range of people there to chat to, everybody was friendly and it was a fun way to meet people in real life!

It was quite overpriced for what it was. I felt like I could have done the same thing in a random gay bar. It didn’t feel very held or structured.

This event was really good I enjoyed the event a lot. Only improvement I would say might help was if the host (who was lovely) interacted more and told us what was happening as there a few times we were confused at the next steps (when things would happen and maybe a few ice breaker games

The venue was expensive for what you get. The music was so loud that you couldn’t hear yourself. The match game was completely missed matched . I think there was not much effort from the hosts to encourage people to mix with people. Simple question is not enough

Enjoyed it and met nice people, questions could be more specific

Like being out in the 00s but with AI assisted. Honestly didn’t really need the questionnaire, or the clues, or the secret match. It was just quite successful by putting a whole bunch of hot singles together in one area. Venue was fun, hosts were friendly and the structure of the evening helped people circulate and chat. Fun night out in SoHo

Really fun event, with lots of great people.

Terrible matchbox questions and poor matching. They should be ashamed to suggest matches with gender centric and biased questions, as if there is nothing else in life that matters. Has a professional psychologist, relationship expert, or behavioural specialist even reviewed the questions??? Avoid at all costs.

You should ask questions about physical appearance

Overpriced, venue was a bit loud. Most people came with friends

Maybe don’t use an AI and don’t stuff us like sardines in a cramped space!

The host was helpful and approachable. It was a good turn out but if you’re curious to know the majority was white. I liked the survey but thought it could’ve included questions around preferences. We split off into groups but was a bit confused as some of us assumed we would be matched within the group and the group later dispersed. It was later on that we would match with someone. I got along with my match but would’ve liked to have been matched more than once. But overall I’m glad I went as I connected with a few people in a friendship way.

The concept was fun but it said clues would be dropped to help us find our match. The clues were simply putting us into ever decreasing groups. That felt quite disappointing tbh. Equally the match was just not my type in the slightest. I engaged in conversation and we had very little in common so I don’t think the algorithm used was any good tbh. I had more in common with people from the group I wasn’t in and few other said the same so think it was a fail. Like the concept but execution needs work.

Right from the choice of venue, which was compartmentalized and did not encourage mixing, expensive drinks, lack of visibility of the host. To the organisation- no age based matching, no opportunities or help from the facilitator to make you meet your match. My match didn't even respond to my whatsapp message, nor made an effort to reach out. I left the venue 30 minutes later. To the awkward format where people were mostly there with friends, and no social meeting was scaffolded and it was all open ended. So many people shared how awkward it was. Expensive tickets for all that did not work. Never coming back.

The questions used need to be more nuanced, fine-tuned and offer more granular ways to answer questions. The trouble I and other guests had with the questions was that they essentially expected black-and-white responses to topics that require more thought and attention that a basic number scale simply can't account for. It therefore forces people to either go towards an extreme value that may put off others, or make most people sit on the fence (i.e. pick a mid-range value) to be on the safe side. The latter means that you don't really get a chance to convey your actual views, making the matching less effective. Also, and I understand why this might be contentious, but I think questions that probe people's height, race or ability preferences wouldn't go amiss. Given that we don't live in an unbiased world, I'd much rather have that used as a filter so that I don't match with someone who would never consider me an option based on my race.

I had an awful time in a very inaccessible venue unfortunately( the disabled toilet on the floor above the event space was crowded with stools and used as a storage closet- unacceptable) and didn't even meet my match. And all the people I spoke to who met their match had 0 chemistry so it felt like a wasted evening in an overcrowded venue. Such a shame because the guys seemed very friendly, and I was hopeful I would meet somebody I had chemistry with. But alas..
