I had a blast at the Salsa Singles Night event! The host was fun and knowledgeable, making it easy for a newer dancer like me to feel comfortable. Coming from a smaller town, I really value the community side of dancing, and it was refreshing to be in such a kind, safe, and respectful environment. My only feedback is that I wish there was more time for general socializing with everyone, regardless of the "matches." Dating is great, but building a community of good people is even better. I’m not usually a social butterfly, but I’d love to see this group again soon!

Had a good time at the salsa dating event! The host was awesome — they really helped everyone feel comfortable and kept things light and easygoing. Even if you showed up solo or didn’t know how to dance, it never felt awkward. The music was great, people were friendly, and it was such a good mix of dancing and the reveal of the matches. It felt gamified a little which I liked.

Xavier did a great job of easing everyone into some quick salsa foundations and getting people comfortable with one another. He created a verity welcoming environment with his emphasis on proper dance etiquette, respect for others, and that the main goal was just to have fun. Loved the format of breaking into groups and having a “speed dancing” session with the girls before having the matches revealed

Met a bunch of awesome people, the salsa lesson was fun and the host was very nice! I stretched myself attending this alone as I’m a little shy. But it was interactive, and the people in the group I got put in was so kind. I also enjoyed speaking with people in the other group before we were prompted to go into groups. We found our matches before the end for some reason, and the questionnaire was not as deep as I expected. But if you’re curious about the experience, I would say it’s worth going.

I think Xavier did a great job making people feel comfortable if it was their first time dancing salsa. I liked that he reminded everyone of proper etiquette ex. It’s about the connection instead of trying to correct your partner or teach them new steps. I think a bit more lighting and some music would be nice as people enter the space. Perhaps hosting these events at a bar so people can get a drink beforehand to loosen up.

This was my first dating event and it didn’t disappoint!! The event was fun, well organized and rotations were timed well - which means you weren’t stuck with someone you’d rather not be partnered with for too long. This is a much more fun way to experience “speed dating” and would recommend to other singles looking for an interactive way to meet other singles or if you’re just over the dating apps

Xavier was a wonderful host. I appreciated how clear the comms were leading up to the event and the details info in the event summary page, so you know what to expect in the flow of the evening agenda wise. He and his team were welcoming and professional, and it was great to see a different approach to how he taught salsa and encouraged group interaction to help the purpose of the event. Would definitely recommend.

I had terrible experience. Some girls aren’t there to find a date. They show very hostile attitudes to any one who just wanna say hi to them aren’t even necessarily interested in them. It’s very awkward for people who don’t like each other to salsa dance especially turns after turns. The algorithm sucks. I matched a girl who showed me most hostility. The questionnaire didn’t ask anything about physical appearance which is important also for most of people.
