Personally felt that the venue wasnt the best, music was too loud and the bar was quite cramped, it got really stuffy as well. Would have loved it if it were at a different bar with a more quiet setting.

I didnt have much luck with my matches, though I believe I could be friends with my last one and some of the other participants here tonight. All in all it was still a pretty fun session and it was run pretty well from start to finish.

I love the venue and the set of questions. This was my 2nd marching event, it’s OK, but when I set my age, they only match these age, which is not what I want. So this should be changed. Or at least there should be more variety of kind of people.

The price with the drinks not worth it at all. I order soft drink soda and they even couldnt give a can but just haft of a glass. So ridiculous. Never return to this outlet anymore. And with the even I didnt feel i fit in there. Maybe not because of the host, because of the vibe and my mood not in there.

Everyone in the event was very amiable and attentive however I personally thing it is a great spot for social networking and searching for friends rather than date due to the lack of interesting guys at the event. I also wish that the host would have prepared some finger food at least for the participants since the event was held during dinner hour

The “algorithm” gave me 3 matches: - the first was a 21 y.o. student (I’m 50+ and the event was supposed to be 26+) - the second was a bisexual man (even though I registered as ethero) - the third was an “unmatched”… If there is a real algorithm behind, it seems it had a bit of hallucination.

Time is money. Should have started on time. Age limit should be imposed as well. If it says 26+, then follow it. Not 'up to you' response. The time of the event is usually the Malaysian dinner time. Perhaps could provide finger food for next events? Token drinks should have more options. The choice between beer and red/white wine, is not enough.

This may be harsh, but it’s the reality in Malaysia - as a non-Muslim, a lot of us don’t want to date Muslims as we do not want to convert. The algorithm should take that into account especially since this is not a unique issue (one of my matches complained about the same issue too). Don’t need to worry about unfairness since the law is not fair to us non-Muslims anyway. Personally, I also am not open to dating outside my race. Perhaps the questions should take into account our preference re race (e.g. what races we are open to consider matching with). But yeah, basically, ⅔ of my matches were no-gos from the get-go but I stayed to chat with them so as to not hurt anyone’s feelings. But it was definitely a waste of my time.

1. It was my first time attending the event, a lot of other people and myself thought there would be some light finger foods available or that we could sit down and dine in for dinner while talking to our matches since the event started at 7.30pm which was around dinner time and many others rushed towards the venue after work but disappointed there wasn’t any sort of food offered especially for the price paid. It was also disappointing to know the menu only had drinks and light snacks instead of proper meals. 2. There wasn’t a balanced ratio of males and females. 3. There’s no feedback questionnaire about each match received post match reveal to help the algorithm improve the likelihood of a potential match being successful and if not, then why. 4. I am confused if the host was Rory or Jacinda as I heard Rory speaking into the mic more than Jacinda. 5. I found that having the AI algorithm and whatsapp auto-prompts were useful in giving everyone a cue to swap and mingle around.

I really liked the concept of the speed dating event, and I thought the girls who attended were genuinely great — friendly, well-presented and seemed sincere about meeting someone. That said, I felt there was a noticeable imbalance in terms of the overall quality and suitability of the male participants. The women seemed to be a much stronger and more compatible pool overall, which made the experience somewhat disappointing. For a speed dating event, I think having a balanced number of participants is only one part of the equation. The quality, compatibility and effort put into curating the participants are equally important. It would be great if future events could place more emphasis on attracting and screening a stronger pool of male participants. I think the concept has a lot of potential, and with a more suitable pool of men, the overall experience could be significantly better.

For the price, I did expect there would be some finger food - especially as the event started at 7.30pm and many of us couldn’t eat beforehand. Also it was a shame they took the games away after the matching mingling - as we had gotten to know more people then and would have been great fun to play games. Other than that - it was great!
