Good crowd and cozy event space~ a bit overwhelmed by the noise and trying ti navigate groups/ the socializing. I would say more in depth questions and facilitation would be good next time.

i really appreciate opportunities dedicated to fostering platonic connections, especially within the queer community! the perfect event i'm looking for :)

I think this event is a good idea, and I met some nice people, but it'd be better in a venue with better sound absorption. Everyone was shouting over each other and the music, and we still couldn't hear. It was really hard to have a conversation/get to know each other like that.

The event wasn’t run great but it was fine. The question were not deep enough to really get a good match with someone. 6/10 experience

it was run very well and it was nice to meet new people, but i thought the survey was missing major indicators of compatibility. i think it should have included questions about political and religious affiliations, whether you want kids or not, hobbies, or if you’re looking specifically for a long term relationship.

As a whole the event was great.

Rebecca was great, and she implemented some adjustments based on suggestions from the friend matchmaking event prior that helped. The age match part for this one felt off - I seemed to have a wide range of ages in my group, but that’s also dependent on who signs up. Overall though it was fun and I got to talk with some great women.

The space made it hard to move around to mingle and each of the rounds was too long. I sure that the survey questions were the right ones for creating compatible matches. Questions more focused on core values and what you’re looking for in a partner would probably be better. Also 6-9 is a weird time for an even that doesn’t include food!

Way too many people. It was difficult to have any kind of meaningful conversations, because you couldn't actually hear anyone talk. The software is pretty goofy too (for example, it asks if you would drop a friend over political differences, but doesn't ask what those political differences are. Some questions have footnotes saying they imply something particular about your personality--liking sarcasm means you appreciate "adaptive" humor, disdaining astrology means you aren't spiritual, etc--and they're pretty reductive.

The first groups ww were sorted into seemed to my group to be an age sort, since we were all within a few years of eachother and the group next to us seemed to be the group that got all of the oldest people present. Rather disappointing, showing up to an event marketed as “making friends across age ranges” and then filling out questions about myself only to end up sorted by age in the first round.
