From what i heard from people is that they found difficult to talk because of loud noise which i personally think was true, may be slow calm music in background would be better for people to talk
Michael
Commin issue was we cannot find the match. All we was given was just the match's name. I missed two matches out of three because we cannot locate each other. Need to provide better way to find your match.
Merlin
This event was not good at all. Bad organizer. Chois! Everyone should have a name badge prepared otherwise these is no way to find your match. Ai matching doesn't work at all. It is completely a lie.
Jessica
There wasn't exactly a "host" so people were kind of all over the place. I feel that the questions didn't really get a good idea of who I am, it didn't help that 2 of my matches didn't even show up.
Rohit
The event was great but searching for the matches was challenging and since there is a time limitation one ends up spending more time with the last match
Vivek
There needed to be an actual host, talking explaining bringing people together. Instead of messages on WhatsApp, it could be announcements for the public info. Felt like a normal bar, not an event.
Sophia
Maybe people should wear a name tag, it’s very difficult to find people that you matched
Saif
The whole event was fun and a great opportunity in meeting new people.
Estelle
Include questions e.g whether they have children, and whether they smoke. Those can be important aspects for match making.
Janis
The group separation and the direction from the host is not clear. I can’t find the match in the venue.
K
Try to keep the male and female ratio more aligned
Jenny
I came with no expectations, was hoping to meet someone to date but I guess it takes time to meet someone new as it predicted that I am a slow burner. I have to feel that person first before I could fully commit myself. But in the end I met new friends that are friendly and have so much in common.
Tristan
Nothing much telling what to do , it’s just like a group of people trapped in a bar and talk to each other. And it can happen if you just hop in any bars. Not a clear direction what to do , no one hosting the event.
Adarsh
I didn’t know there was 1 hour of socialising beforehand so I thought I was late and rushing. My first match was okay but she lost her voice before the matches started even cuz the music was too loud. Was really awkward but we managed to chat using the matchbox text software. Second match was not my vibe at all and third match was with my male friend I came with to the event. Guess that can’t be helped tho Also there should be some age separation cuz most people were more like 30+. If the event was only for ppl in their 20s could be better chance to match with someone
Jenny
The questions given at the start were very generic.
Vicki
I loved the concept and it was cool yo meet new people. However, I feel a lot can be improved. 1. For the ticket price of $200 there is not even an included drink (even simply a soda). 2. The host booth should be positioned opposite the door for smoother arrival flow and the host was not very approachable/ outgoing. 3. The venue would have benefitted from clearly sectioning off the event as it was next to people dining and people from outside the event getting mixed in made it hard ro distinguish who to talk with. 4. The match reveal would benefit from a projector screen to indicate "Match 1 ready", "Match 2 ready" and "Match 3 ready" to smoothen the process.
Cherie
One of the matches are like 20 years younger than me so it is a bit awkward.

I attended Thursday’s matchmaking event last night and was disappointed by the lack of professionalism. Check-in was handled by a single staff member who only scanned tickets, with no guidance on seating or how the event would run. There was no MC, no introductions, and no structured facilitation—just a long questionnaire and vague “AI matching.” The ticket didn’t include any drinks, and non-ticketed diners could freely approach our table, which made the paid experience feel pointless. I expected much more from an established, international matchmaking brand like Thursday. Based on this, I wouldn’t recommend the event to friends.

The event could have been better if the crowd listing is representative of a broader age segment up to 60 yrs old for both men and women. Secondly, there should have been more equal number of men and women. There were several matches among the crowd that were paired with the same sex (more on women to women). Apprarently, there were more women than men in the crowd. I find the ticket price more expensive esp that the pairings are not matched at all. It could have been better if the ticket price will include 1 decent drink atleast. But, overall, I am thankful for the experience being my first time. Thank you again.
Virginia
Event is tricky for first timers to look for location. AI currently works as a gimmick does nth to pair each other up. There are many nuances to personalities and fully depends on the dynamics of the night. Just seems like an event with minimal effort put together bunch of single people and let them mingle around, especially when AI won’t make us vibe and some matches cannot be found (guys did not take initiative to find girls …)
Fawaz
I couldn’t find 2/3 of my matches
Ray
It was a bit chaotic and if you removed the match survey premise and included one drink it would have been just a regular happy hour/networking type event. The entry didnt include a drink which pushed up the whole cost of the evening…. On the positive side everyone who attended was bubbly and fun and easy to talk to—-without the match survey component.

Hi, I had a bad time at your event last night (2 of my 3 matches refused to meet me face to face, even though your organizer pointed out “(her name) is there”), but more importantly, your host was practically unsympathetic. Not one iota of “oh shit this is not right” or “oh I’m sorry about this.” Absolute apathy. And I was left there awkward and kind of humiliated too, while most other people were paired off / have people to sit down with and talk to. If you guys have done this properly at the very least you’d have asked your participants to sit through each match / faint interest / let the other undesirable person to save face. I would never recommend your event to my friends/peers, and for that matter, when I’m in another city (that Thursday operates) for the autumn, I would NOT recommend your other city events to my friends/peers either.
Priya
The host did not seem attentive to the questions, which affected the overall flow of the event. The audience was largely local and predominantly female; a more balanced mix of genders and a more international crowd would have made the experience more engaging. Alternatively, it might be better to position this as a local-focused event.
