A lot of time was wasted waiting for the matches. You shouldn’t just get one match you should have x amount of time then you meet your second best match then third best then have time to mingle with others you’d like to talk to.

Everything was good and the event itself was run well but the venue was too small. I like the idea of the event, however people left early due to how crowded and loud it was

Xavaar did a find job of putting the event together. The questions themselves didn’t hit any core points that would accurately match you with someone similar. Aside from physical attraction, it seemed like a lot of the other women I spoke with felt the same.

I think it was amazing. Only thing is how long we’re allowed to talk to our marches. I think maybe 10-15 min max is the sweet spot. That way, we’ll get to talk to more people. I was able to talk to only 3 that night and I think we talked for like half an hour per match.

The event was good. It seemed like a lot of people left right after they got their matches though. It felt pretty organized

The problem was that the venue was a little small and I couldn’t hear anyone but other than that it was awesome!

Fun event, didn’t meet like my future partner of anything, but it was fun to push myself out of my comfort zone
Dilya
The venue was too small, it was extremely crowded, loud and too dark. It was very hard to have a conversation with anyone.
Justin
The venue was way too small…the room they stuffed us in was cramped. A lot of people felt that way too
Jason
The venue was too loud making it very hard to hear or speak to matches. Not a great value there was only opportunities to speak with three matches for 45 minutes each. That’s too long for a Speed Date and there were other women I would’ve liked to have met at the event.
Zade
I didn’t like the fact it was only 1 match. Plus the place was hot as hell.
Dom
Good event, interesting format!

I wouldn’t return. There were way more girls at the event than guys. My friend got matched with a girl (they are both straight) and I got matched with someone who left. I got a text after the reveal saying “Sorry I left…”. I would have liked a refund for my ticket. It was also too long of an event. 7-9 would have been sufficient.

I don’t recommend this event. The event was oversold for the space so it was really loud and you had to yell to hear each other. The host didn’t tell us how many matches we would get, so a lot of people left after their second match not realizing there would be a third match. My third match left early so I only got to talk to two people. I didn’t vibe with my first match at all, so I don’t think the survey did a good job matching us up. And each round was 30 minutes which felt way too long when you’re not compatible with them. Another thing I didn’t like was the website didn’t ask who you liked at the end. Instead, you can message any of the three people you were paired up with, but it’s really nerve wracking to try to set up a date with someone without knowing if there’s mutual interest. The whole event was stressful and awkward and made me feel bad about myself.

My complain is specific to the event setup / venue selection. The event took place at a restaurant in Seaport with waterfront view. The perfect outdoor spot to meet strangers for a chat. However the event was hosted in a crammed dark room, too small for the number of occupants. It was loud and hard to have a conversation. Some attendees grabbed a spot at the bar / normal table to chat. Event setup wise, it was not mentioned that you had to find your own match via text, which is not that big of a deal. It only became an issue when there are no clear sign designated for specific area for a match group. When the match notification is sent out, it became quite chaotic as everyone's randomly looking / asking for their match. The host was not super helpful and delegated all responsibilities to you. Overall, a client paid $30-$50 to do all the leg work of finding their partner to enjoy the experience. Not a great experience. This was shared by quite a few attendees at the event last night.

This felt a lot like married at first sight style. The room was very small and difficult to get around. And you were stuck talking to someone that you may not jive with for an extended amount of time just because you “matched”. I actually enjoyed conversations more with people I wasn’t matched with. I think a speed dating style with a time limit would be better for these events. Also, if you can look through people who attended the event afterwards and like them on an app/online. Then if they like you back exchange info automatically. That format would be a lot less awkward.

I was really looking forward to this event because of the location, but it ended up being a waste of $27. The room was tiny, overcrowded, and unbearably loud — definitely not a good setup for a matchmaking event. On top of that, the drink situation was a mess, and the gender ratio was completely off (around 20% men and 80% women), which made no sense for this type of event. Overall, really disappointing and poorly organized.
