This event was so much fun and a great way to connect in person! I will say the crowd was mostly aged between 25-40 so keeping that in mind depending on your age range! 10/10 would absolutely come back!

I think the concept of it was great, I do think the price was a little hefty for sort of just putting us in groups to chat. There is 100% more to physical attraction but maybe that can somehow be included in the questionare

The turnout was pretty good. I got to meet some cool people. I just wish there was the opportunity to match with more than one person (speed dating style) to get more 1 on 1 time instead of just dividing people into sub groups.

With it being such a big group it’s hard to find the people you matched we need Name tags. You give a name tag sticker we just write are name to make easy for staff and the customers participating

I gave my match a chance to get to know her, but she excused herself after about 15 minutes. I didn't get a sense everyone was intentional. I mixed with good people regardless men and women.

It was a great event. The space was a good choice. Thunderbird is a cool place, they weren’t on top of the bathroom maintenance and refills though. We all appreciated the inclusion of the queer community in these events and look forward to attending more.

I never found my match, so I have no idea if they were a good fit. The directions that were provided to help you find your person, were very confusing and the very delayed texts, didn’t help. Even at a discounted rate, I spent too much money.

Women’s tickets should be free. Questionnaire needed more personal questions (e.g., hobbies, introvert vs extrovert, likes animals, etc.). Please consider allowing individuals to match with individuals who are within their desired age range.

Interesting mix of freely mixing with people but then being paired up for some structured interaction. I feel the algo may have just matched me with similar aged folks, rather than asking participants what age they wanted to match with. That could be improved.

Felt like the quiz should’ve been done prior to coming in since you spent like 10 mins or so doing it while everyone is just standing around, felt like we weren’t as disconnected from them. This event was a fun way to socialize and get to know other singles with minimal pressure. I do wish the survey/questionnaire went a little more in-depth and had more answers to choose from, but overall was a nice experience. I’m glad I went because I hit it off really well with my 3rd match and exchanged numbers. We have a future date planned and I’m super excited!! Recommend to anyone who has never gone to an event like this or is curious if they’ll find someone they are interested in based on relationship science.

It was a fun time! This was my first singles event and first matchmaking event and I really enjoyed myself! Although none of my matches ended in a romantic connection, I still left the event feeling like I made new friend connections and had good conversations overall. It was a fun time and excited for the next event!

This was my first time attending and I really enjoyed the event. The matchmaking portion was well organized and I loved the conversation prompts after being matched. My only suggestion would be to have a quick icebreaker or a bit more structure at the very start. The check-in and mingling time felt a little unstructured. Overall, it was a great experience

Heard about it from a friend and I was skeptical but he assured me these events were worth a shot. I went and was pleasantly surprised. Met some cool folks, my "match" was intelligent, pretty, and seemed like a good gal. There wasn't a ton of chemistry tho. Meanwhile my "2nd match" is someone I probably would have assumed wasn't compatible with me, as it turned out I was wrong. I'm low key excited to see where it might go. Our time to chat was brief as the event was kind of going into a kind of lightning round mode. I definitely hope to talk to her and see about a formal old school ass date... My "3rd match" was a straight dude, like me, and we both were wondering if it was a mistake or a prank. He's a cool dude tho and we went into wingman mode.

I think this event being on a Wednesday made it more limited than the other events. Fewer people, and the space felt more corporate vibes than a comfortable setting to get to know a potential match. Not having anywhere to sit was also unenjoyable - especially for us ladies in heels. I really like Match, and wish the event would have utilized the restaurant's normal space. If I did another match-maker style event, I'd try one on the weekend and in a different event space.

It was a cool event just a bummer that ratio was really far off so it got pretty awkward when the results were released. If there was a way to ratio it 50/50 that would have been a lot better. By the time we got to our last group there was one female to 5 males. Then getting matched with a person I didn’t resonate with was strange. Other Thursday events have been great so negativity on the program as a whole.

I was told that if a heterosexual man (me) was paired with a man, that I could get a free ticket to the next event, as that is an issue with male/female ratios. The host said that she would email me for a free ticket, however, no email came. I emailed this morning and was told that no refund could be given in an email that looked automated. Also the email assumed I wanted a refund and did not address the concept of "a free ticket to next event." I was made to sit and watch everyone else having a good time communicating with their match, meanwhile I sat alone and humiliated (my male match left, as he was also a heterosexual man looking for what the event promised; a romantic date opportunity, not male bonding).

Event sounded great on paper and decided to check it out based on curiosity. Unfortunately, I left feeling disappointed (I was immediately blocked on IG by match despite being amicable in conversation. We both didn't seem to be too into each other, but decided to exchange IG handles out of respect). The whole experience left me hesitate to try match making or Thursday events in the future. Thanks for organizing, but probably won't return.

The problems with the venue aside, this event was entertaining. I definitely met some interesting people and saw a lot of interesting things while people watching. The AI matchmaking wasn’t what I expected. I wish there were more detailed questions like asking our preferences. And then also answering questions about yourself so that preferences can be matched. For example, I’m 6 feet tall as a female, and every single one of my matches was shorter than me. I wish there was a way for me to say that I prefer a tall man. And maybe age range could be a preference as well.
